A small detail makes the difference in cyber security

Companies all over the world install different security systems and spend millions of money for data protection.
Recently, the types of viruses that circulate in the network are very sophisticated, making companies more vulnerable to hacking attacks that occur.

But a small detail that makes a big difference, for data protection should be taken into account by companies, mostly by network security engineers, end-user education and the risk of viruses. Users are infected with most of the email systems, mainly attachment files. Double-clicking on an attachment file gives access to your computer to a malware or ransomware virus to take control of your system.

Hackers, once they find access to even a computer, can find, access and penetrate all the company’s documents, reaching the point of destroying it. Saving information is the responsibility of every person, including end users.

End users should be educated that before opening an email with a file attachment, look at the attachment that has the file behind it, for example files like name.zip.jpg, name.zip.exe, name.rar.batch, name.pdf. bat etc.
So all the files that are at the end with unusual suffixes from the type of file recognized by the Windows or Mac OS system, it is advisable to ask IT before opening them.

The security IT staff from time to time must be updated with the latest viruses circulating in the network, and do training for the end users, so that they have secured support from the latter as well.

Conclusion: Security is just an illusion, the cooperation of all employees without exception in a company makes it safer against cyber attacks, which can be fatal for the company itself!
